Protein_MSA_inspect tool specification

Tool Information:

  • Name: Protein_MSA_inspect

  • Type: ProteinMSAInventoryTool

  • Description: Inspect local single-component protein A3M or aligned FASTA. Reports raw/unique depth, query-only or duplicate-only inputs, query match, gaps and insertions. No uploads, homology search, Neff or folding validation. Inspect each complex component separately.

Parameters:

  • alignment_path ([‘string’, ‘null’]) (optional) Local single-component protein A3M or aligned FASTA path; stays local. Exactly one input source.

  • alignment_content ([‘string’, ‘null’]) (optional) Inline single-component protein A3M or aligned FASTA; stays local. Exactly one input source.

  • format ([‘string’, ‘null’]) (optional) Default a3m: lowercase residues and dots are insertions. aligned_fasta normalizes lowercase and treats dots as gaps.

  • expected_query_sequence ([‘string’, ‘null’]) (optional) Optional expected ungapped protein sequence, compared to first record. Mismatch is reported; no sequences returned.

  • max_row_details ([‘integer’, ‘null’]) (optional) Bound per-row summaries; default 10. Counts stay complete.

Example Usage:

query = {
    "name": "Protein_MSA_inspect",
    "arguments": {
    }
}
result = tu.run(query)
